<p>소액결제 현금화는 제품권, 게임 아이템 등을 결제한 잠시 뒤 인증번호 등 정보를 업체에 넘기면 수수료를 떼고 즉시 현금을 지급하는 것을 말한다. ‘급전이 요구되는 시민들이 주로 사용하는데, 실상은 고금리 대출에 사기 가능성이 높아 정보통신망법상 불법으로 규정하고 있습니다.</p>
<p>지난해 금감원은 소액결제 현금화 등 불법금융선전을 방송통신심의위원회에 신청해 사이트 폐쇄와 게시글 삭제, 계정 중지 등을 결정했지만 ‘언론 보도에는 대응하지 않았다. 금감원 지인은 “언론의 보도는 홍보로 규정할 수는 없어 보여서 판단까다로운 면이 있을 것이다”고 했었다.</p>
<p>‘소액결제 현금화 사업은 불법이다. 아이디어통신망법은 ‘통신과금서비스사용자로 하여금 통신과금서비스에 의하여 재화등을 구매·사용되도록 한 후 사용자가 구매·이용한 재화등을 할인해 매입하는 행위에 ‘8년 이하의 징역 또는 3천만원 이하의 벌금에 처하도록 규정하고 있을 것이다.</p>
